Our Final Opening Sequence Idea

Our final idea was that we have and English politician, who comes out of a hotel on the countryside and gives an interview with many reporters. He is positioned in the door entrance and behind him we see one bodyguard and his wife. We then have an assassin who tries to kill the politician from a window. First we would have a shot of the reporters setting up their equipment. Then wee see the politician and his wife, she is talking to him. This would probably be an over shoulder shot of the talking. He then goes out and starts talking to a reporter. It cuts to a tracking shot of the assassin walking with a black briefcase. We see a close up of the door button and it cuts again to the politician giving another interview. It gets fast pace and we see the assassin opening the briefcase, we see a gun in it. It cuts back to the politician talking. The next shot would be the setting up of the gun and then a close up of someone’s hand knocking at his door. It cuts to a close up of the bodyguard behind the politician and we hear a voiceover of another bodyguard who is telling him that someone has locked himself in the room. Then it cuts again to the assassin holding his gun out of the window, we see another knock and the politician through the gun. He shoots him and it cuts to a black screen with the title.
