Evaluation task: 4 Who would be the audience for your media product ?

The target audience we are aiming our product at is between 18-50 years old, an adult, educated audience would probably go to see the movie. Fact that, our movie is a high budget movie and it is going to be released in the cinema, the audience MUST like the storyline and be interested to pay for seeing the movie on big screens and on DVD. I reckon, that we would have a mostly male audience, because it's a thriller/action film. Also if now, the female audience is getting more attracted to those kinds of movies, because of friends, boyfriends, family, teachers, etc.(word of mouth). I guess the adult audience is useful because they are normally independent and so have their own money and time to come watch it. The younger audience is probably watching the movie at the cinema, because they might have more time, when they are not studying or at UNI, on free days or weekends. I also think this type of audience will develop the market in a quicker way, because of the word of mouth. They socialize a lot and therefore they would talk about it.
