Institutional Context

Moshi Moshi Records is a small record label, based in London, that has released music by bands such as The Rakes, Bloc Party, Hot Chip, Late of the Pier, Hot Club De Paris, Kate Nash, Junkboy, Architecture in Helsinki, Tilly and the Wall, Slow Club, Yeti, and Au Revoir Simone.
They also have a Singles CLub, which has been responsible for the releases of records by Florence And The Machine,Fanfarlo, Lykke Li and Friendly Fires amongst others.
It has his name, because of the Japanese telephone greeting "moshi moshi", which translates to hello.
We purposely choose this record label, because we think it would be best for our one man band Peter & The Wolf. Moshi Moshi has a range of alternative, indie artists, and so is our band. Some of the artists are very famous, although of the niche audience listening to their music.
